If you already have Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and you are just looking for instructions on how to play online, skip ahead to Part 2.

Extensions e.g: .exe or .iso may not be visible on your computer. This doesn’t matter.
It is recommended that you back up any files about to be replaced by copying it to somewhere else first.

PART 1: DOWNLOADING CALL OF DUTY 4: MODERN WARFARE TORRENT + uTORRENT

  1. Download uTorrent (A Torrent Downloading Program):

  2. Install uTorrent by opening the file you downloaded [(uTorrent.exe) or (uTorrent)]
  3. Download the CoD4:MW Torrent:

Torrents are famous for being slow, that’s why I’m teaching you how to configure uTorrent so you get the best speeds, and trust me: After this uTorrent will perform quite decently.

Downloading Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

  1. Open uTorrent.
  2. Click “File” then “Add Torrent” (Control + O)
  3. Open the Torrent you downloaded:
    Call of duty 4 [PC-DVD] [English] [www.topetorrent.com]
  4. Select a location for the torrent to be downloaded.
  5. Wait for the download to finish. This should a few hours. (It took 6 hours for me).

PART 1.3: INSTALLING CoD4:MW + DAEMON TOOLS

  1. Download Daemon Tools Lite:
    http://www.daemon-tools.cc/eng/products/dtLite
    Download the Free one (unless you want to buy it).
  2. Install Daemon Tools by opening the file you just downloaded.
  3. Run Daemon Tools. A thunder-like icon should appear on your taskbar on the right.
  4. Right click the Daemon Tools icon. Select “Virtual Devices”. If no virtual device exists then click “Add SCSI Virtual Device”. You should then get something similar to:
    ’Device 0: [E:] No Media’ (The letter will vary )
  5. Click the virtual device and select “Mount Image”
  6. Go to the folder where you downloaded the CoD4:MW Torrent and mount the image:
    Call of duty 4 [PC-DVD] [English] [www.topetorrent.com].iso (It is a disc image file)
  7. If an Autorun window pops up then proceed and install Call of Duty. If not, then go to “My Computer”, open the “BD-ROM Drive” and run “Setup.exe”
  8. Follow the prompts and install CoD4:MW as you would with any other program.
  9. IMPORTANT:When the installer asks for the Keycode/CD Key, Go to the folder where you downloaded CoD4:MW, go to the folder named “Crack” and open “rzr-cod4.exe”. This step is essential, so even if your firewall/antivirus blocks it you still have to find a way to open it. Generate a CD Key and put it EXACTLY into the setup. The setup should accept it as a valid key. If not, generate another key and try it again. Write down your CD KEY! DO NOT LOSE IT!
  10. Proceed with the installation. Install DirectX and PunkBuster too.
  11. YOU HAVE NOW INSTALLED CALL OF DUTY 4: MODERN WARFARE.

PART 2.0: DOWLOADING PATCHES AND CRACK

  1. Download the following patches:

  2. Download the following crack:
    http://www.gameburnworld.com/dl/dl.php?file=CallOfDuty4ModernWarfarev1.7NoDVDFixedexeEng.rar
  3. To download the above 3 files simply choose a mirror to download from.
  4. Download WinRaR:
    http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
    Choose this one: WinRAR x86 (32 bit) 4.01
  5. Install WinRaR, following the prompts.
  6. Extract the 3 files you downloaded before (2 patches and the crack) by right clicking on them and selecting “Extract Here”
  7. Install “CoD4MW-1.6-PatchSetup.exe”
  8. Install “CoD4MW-1.6-1.7-PatchSetup.exe”
  9. Copy the crack “iw3sp.exe” that you just downloaded and extracted. Go to where you installed call of duty. (most likely C:Program FilesActivisionCall of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare) and paste the “iw3sp.exe” file, replacing the current one.
